Live Summit Forthcoming EP on LIve & Dangerous

Live Summit will be touching down on Live & Dangerous in 2011 with their debut EP. Here is some info on the band.

LiveSummit - Instrumental DnB

LiveSummit is a band that plays LIVE Drum&Bass. The band makes Drum&Bass more mass and entertaining music involving more and more people. From the moment of creation the number of the LiveSummit's listeners has increased gradually and is increasing every day.

"LiveSummit" is a dynamically developing instrumental DnB band. It destroys the stereotypes by playing Live various styles of DnB including Neurofunk, Teсhnoid, Dubstep, etc. The considerable amount of criticism during the band formation has led to a more qualitative tracks.

Thanks to an exchange of experience with Russian DnB producers it was possible to find analogues of various filters and processings applied by them in creation of dnb tracks. The majority of virtual synthesizers and filters emit work of the real-life devices. Chains of these devices have allowed to transform usual sounds of guitars beyond recognition. Furthermore, the use of triggers and electronic drum machines with a combination of game technics applied by such world DnB drummers as Jojo Mayer, KJ Sawka, has given the necessary result. By continuous experiments the Band achieves modern Drum&Bass sounding.

Even more significant assistance was rendered by foreign gurus of style. Concord Dawn (NZL), Fresh (UK), Kano (UK), etc., have kindly shared their secrets of music production. As it has appeared many of them repeatedly used live instruments in their tunes .

The band LiveSummit was formed in 2008 and has already played with such bands as:
Concord Dawn(NZL)
Fresh(UK)
Mistabishi(UK)
The Panacea(GER)
Black Sun Empire(NL)
The Sect(UK)
Donny(UK)
Phace(GER)
and etc.

THE VANGARDE - TRANSMISSION EP OUT NOW

Live & Dangerous is the new sister label to Dangerous New Age Recordings. It has been put in place because of the growing popularity of live acts going from the underground to the main stream and front stages, It Has also been created to give our live acts a place to put out their music we did not really have any where we could host more mainstream music and we could not miss out working with such talented live acts such as The Vangarde & Live Summit. This is a little preview of what is to come from Live & Dangerous.

Introducing to you The Vangarde

The Vangarde are a two time award winning band from Sydney Australia. Their music is next generation electronic music. The group consists of Rust (Nick Platers, producer, vocalist) and Bishop (Michael Sison, vocalist). In 2007 the band received a lot of attention after winning Best Unsigned Dance/Electronica in Australia.

And In 2008 they scooped up Best Video Artist for 'Ode To Tokyo' It did not stop there either in 2010 they made it to the top five nominees out of thousands of entries for Ride it out sealing them a place on the red carpet once again at the prestigious Music Oz Awards.

It’s very difficult to put The Vangarde in any set genre. They can walk into any party, club or festival and play whatever is needed to fit the nights or days music. The Vangarde have recently reinvented them selves’ and have acquired some new members to the band. Joe Tiribassi is a brilliant Guitarist and Nathan Klein is an awesome Drummer.

They have both proved they are very valuable and help to bring this act to life.
The Vangarde are most definitely going to get the respect and success they deserve, it’s just a matter of time? Turn the volume up and take a listen to the sonic mayhem they call The Vangarde.

“One of the most promising underground outfits to emerge from Australia since Pendulum."

The Transmission EP.

1:The Vangarde - Transmission

Transmission is the lead tune from this amazing promo EP from The Vangarde. Transmission is only just touching the surface of what is to come.
Transmission starts with some good subtle horn stabs and nice layered set of old skool Hip-hop beats. Bishop takes you through vocally in style with a brilliant use of lyrics.

Then the next thing you know without any warning you get taken by surprise like an alien abducting you in the night.
The change in this track is huge, All of a sudden what started off as a nice chilled tune turns into an angry beast with heavy beats all over it and some really powerful synths bringing you more electronic mayhem then Five Terminators overheating.

This tune is one of them ones that just keep your heads nodding and your toes tapping all night long. Now it’s time to go live, we have Transmission.

2: The Vangarde -Ride it out

Ride it out is a huge track and was this year’s Nomination that got them to the top five places at Australia’s premiere Music Oz Awards. Ride it out has something about it that is different from any of the other tracks on here. It has the ability to make you walk away humming the tune or singing the words.

That is when you know you have something special on your hands when you can make someone subconsciously sing your song.

The Vocal from Ivory in this is really well sung and has a really powerful meaning to it. Many of us have been in this situation in where you are not sure what to do so we try to ride it out. Hence the lyrics in this song.
All we have to do is ride it out when you stuck in the deep end, keep your head above water breath in.

All we have to do is ride it out your losing your control got to take hold never refuse to let go. Ride it out is one of them tunes you will keep listening to many times and it never seems to get boring. The Vangarde went in with everything on this track. What a Master piece.

3: The Vangarde Ode2Tokyo - Maztek Remix

Maztek is one of the rising stars in Drum & Bass and after hearing a demo form The Vangarde he jumped at the opportunity to remix one of their songs. The remix Maztek has done is The Vangardes award winning track at the 2008 Music Oz awards it also gained heavy rotation on MTV.

The tune starts with some eerie atmospheres and a spooky voice then it lets you know that we are deep inside your head. Rust starts it off with a generous helping of rapping while Maztek bring some bone crunching beats and a low sub bass that would awake the Mummies who had been asleep for Ten Thousand years.

This tune gets a thoroughly deserved make over from Drum & Bass bad boy Maztek. The tune has had huge support from some of the scenes top DJS and has graced the dance floors in many countries A. big Intro tune for any club night or Rave.

4: The Vangarde – Ride it out Bankai Remix

Bankai another Australian shows his full support to his fellow countrymen and flies the nations flag high with his new style of Electro he has created. This tune starts off like a Beethoven symphony in a concert hall.

The intro has a very complex Piano pattern that will grab you like a Lion chasing his prey in the Savannah. The bass is furious with a good number of changes, keeping you completely locked in from start to finish, heat seeking target destroying tunage.

Bankai also uses some really new sounding ideas to make this remix something different from any other Electro produced music out there. Just before the drop you get them words that seem to stick in your head all we have to do is ride it out. And the tune comes to life with some real soul and funk to it.

This one is making your Nan and Granddad dance. No Nan, Granddad do not do it. Ride it out has had a complete work out Bankai style and you will be screaming for more. Bankai nailed this one together like a coffin maker on call out after Dracula had a Blood thirsty feast on a town.

5: The Vangarde – Ride it Out Diode Remix

Diode follows Bankai and remixes the Vangardes 2010 Nomination for this year’s music OZ awards. This tune beat thousands of people to give the band yet another invite to the televised national unsigned music Oz awards. Diode doesn’t mess around with this one instantly you know what tune this is he is remixing.

The beats come in with a Hip hop style beat pattern and some squelchy sounds in a typical Diode fashion.
This is the sound that has got Diode so many fans following him worldwide over the years. There is no wonder why, when he is making tunes of this caliber Diode has his tunes supported by a host full of DJs including Edrush, The Lifted crew and many more.

The Vangarde and Diode have teamed up perfectly on this track and it’s another explosive track for Diodes huge catalogue of releases. Diodes remix is like a fire work going off in an arms factory, explosive and deadly.

6:The Vangarde - You can keep that.

The last track off the Transmission EP is really exclusive to the people who buy this EP and support the band. The Vangarde wanted to give their fans and consumers something more on this release so they created a very special Bonus track that will not be on their Plan B Album.
You can keep that is a Vangarde trade mark track through and through.

The track starts off with a catchy guitar riff from Joe and some really sharp drum Patterns from Nathan as Rust & Bishop come together like two poets at a writer’s society. You can keep that has a great feel to it with lots of get up and go.

All four band members take to this track like an elite force of SAS men, who each know what role they take when the team storms a building from a group of terrorists. You can keep that is a great way to finish this build up EP before the Launch of the Vangardes ground breaking ten Track Plan B Album.

This will be released at some point in November. Please keep your ears open for that it’s one great album and another slice of Australias new sensation The Vangarde. Thanks to all the remixers on this EP. And look out for our new signings. A live act from Russia called Live Summit.

RICO SCOOP & REPETITION - HOLLA FEATURING KERI GREENAWAY OUT 6TH DECEMBER

Rico Scoop & Repetition - Holla Featuring Keri Greenaway
Label Live & Dangerous LDDS -01
Release Date 6th December 2010
Distribution Cygnus Music

Dangerous New Age Recordings new sister label Live & Dangerous is back to follow up on our first release The Vangardes Transmission EP. This time we call up the brilliant Singer Songwriter Keri Greenaway.
Ok so let me introduce you all to Keri Greenaway. Keri is a very talented singer song writer from the UK. She inspires people into making tunes that you will remember. She is currently working with some huge names in Mainstream Music & Drum & Bass as well as House, Electro, and live acts.

Keri is currently working on tunes with Optiv, J Majik & Wickaman and next year she is to be featuring on Blames new LP. She has also just re recorded a classic tune with Legendary Producer Jean Alain Roussel. He has worked with Bob Marley, Sting and the Police plus many more. Keri is on the verge of signing a major deal with a record label to. It won’t be long before this happens we can assure you that.

Keri is also the centre of a massive seven track release from Live & Dangerous next year. It’s called Tell me. This will be going through the UKS leading urban and mainstream promotion companies to hopefully pick up momentum for a UK dance chart release. Keri Greenaway is a name you will hear about very soon, and one that’s not to be missed!

Rico Scoop & Repetition – Holla Featuring Keri Greenaway

The track starts us off with some strings layered over a triangle waved beep. As the atmosphere builds up Keri comes in with the words Holla and the hats start to come in to complement her voice. The intro is keeping you locked like a heat seeking missile on a mission to destroy. Targets initiated.

The Drop is leaving a whole in the earth, like ground Zero. The bass line is massive, and Keri comes in with the full vocal lines of “when the lights are down low, and with no place to go, I want to hear you Holla.”
The energy in this track is putting Duracell out of commission. So charge up your raving batteries people.

Later on in the tune we decided to take Holla it into a musical direction and add live Guitars and Pianos to give it a nice melodic feel, but at the same time we are still  keeping it border line Nuero. The second drop comes in with some off step Hip Hop beats and builds up nicely into Keri repeating the words Holla with some delay on her voice; this builds us up to the second part of the tune.

Rinse out time! The drops back and Live and Dangerous like a letter bomb taking you out before break feast in the morning. The tune rolls off after Keri once more goes through them words you will be signing for the rest of night. I want to hear you Holla. This track has gained support from Blame, plus the Huge DNB channel Nuerogrid on YouTube and its still doing the rounds. So one more time I Wanna  hear you Holla.

2: Sickbrotherz - Stand Still

3: Bullet Time & NVader - Other Side

4: Custom Soldierz - Emperors March

5: Rico & Scoop - Fortress Rene La Vice Remix

Release Date 6th December

Label Dangerous New Age Recordings. DANAGEDIG005

Distribution  Nuurban Music

The Units of measurement EP is the next instalment from Dangerous New Age Recordings. This is our last release for 2010 so we thank anyone that’s supported the label over the last year.

We have carefully selected who we think are the next stars of 2011. A unit of measurement EP features Rene La Vice, Bones, Sickbrotherz, Bullet Time & Nvader plus Custom Soilderz. Put this one on your Christmas list, a must for the dance floor crew. All the artists on this release bring the Rukas.

1: Bones - The Immortals

Immortals start off with a nice set of rolling hats and atmospheric swoosh’s sure to keep any DJs in time throughout the mix. The Ghostly voices bring a spooky feel to the intro adding a great effect. This one is as evil As Emily Rose. Quick call a Priest. Bones is Possessed As the tune builds up to drop we get taken back to the Old Skool Days.

Immortals definitely has them rolling and energetic beats that are sure to make you think about where Drum & Bass all comes from. It’s great that Bones has chosen to bring a bit of the old into the new, and taken it back to the roots but with a little added twist a 2010 makeover. The drop is massive with huge amounts of bass and a dirty Reese on top. This one is 100 percent for the Old Skool Crew.

Bones comes crashing onto Dangerous new age like a stunt man on a Hollywood movie set in a James Bond Movie. 007 business. Immortal gives us something different to add to our catalogue and your collections.

Bones has also made tracks with one of the UKS finest Drum & Bass labels called Cause4Conern He has teamed up with a few of them making some real nasty club bangers. A tune that comes to mind is called Scavengers which came out on Sudden Def LTD, go and check it out. He also has his own radio station and DJS. Look out for bones in 2011 coming at you in full effect.

2: Stand Still - Sickbrotherz

The Sickbrotherz are out of Germany and are here to make a noise. The Intro is quite simple but gets straight to the point, no messing around here! Big Phat Kick drums layered over with hats and spacey noises keep your ears interested all the way through the intro. Sickbrotherz start to bring the tune to the biting point by modulating the drums and filtering us into the drop of the tune.

Stand still has an industrial feel about like a steel factory on over drive. Even the Man of steel can’t touch this. The tune speaks to you as it rolls through and has some unusual samples throughout making it something Unique.
The whole track sounds very clean and is, very well mixed down It’s the first time we have signed a tune in this style but I don’t think we could of found better people for the job Sickbrotherz are keeping it murky like dark waters.

The Sickbrotherz are also promoters of the Therapy Sessions and also run their own nights in Germany so away from producing they have their hands full bringing Germany some of the best Drum & Bass nights. Be sure to look out for more of the Sickbrotherz. Because it’s about to get Sicker.

3: Rico & Scoop – Fortress Rene La Vice Remix

We call Rene La Vice back once again to Dangerous New Age Recordings. This time he is back to remix Fortress which came out on the Flood Warning LP early this year. Rene is getting a lot of attention at the moment as is following in the footsteps of one of the best known producers in Canada called Psidream.

Rene has also been getting his tunes over looked over by two of the leading Drum & Bass Producers in the scene J Majik & Wickaman. So not bad going at all there for Mr Vice.

The remix of Fortress brings you instantly into thinking you could be on the battlements of a castle overlooking a battle ground. Just as the original did,
Rene has changed the sequence of the Piano and added some brilliant new choir vocals to help give it its new coat of armour. The bassline has a new feel to it to Just like Immortals its one of them deep Reese drops. You know the ones that make you go nuts on a dance floor. All in all a great remix from Rene La Vice and someone you should keep an eye on.

Vice has also done a monster Dubstep remix with Keri Greenaway called Tell me. It features artists such as Divine Elements, Task Horizon, Patrick Felony ( Kryteria) & DJ Phono, Nuerygma & Nazco Rico & Scoop. Tell me  is coming to the UK on a huge club and radio promotion campaign in 2011 be sure to keep your ears open for Renes Dubstep remix. It’s just another side to what this guy can do.

4: Bullet Time & Nvader – Other side

Bullet Time & Nvader you probably have not heard of but believe me when you hear this tune you will never forget the names. They come from Russia and as crazy as it seems this is their first signing so it’s definitely good to have them here first. Other side is a as Nuero as it comes. Russia does it again another set of quality producer to follow in the lines of Sub Wave, Da Vip & Encode etc etc.

Russian DNB producers have been getting a lot of attention recently in fact so much that Knowledge magazine did a Russian DNB special. And these guys are no different from any of the names mentioned in the list above.
Other side is a nonstop ride into beats and bass and is flooded with nasty Neuro noises making you keep turning that volume dial up.

This track is another example of why Russian DNB producers are getting so much attention from the top labels. Great work on this tune meaty and nasty. And fits Dangerous New Age like a Bank robber to his balaclava. Stronger then Vodka.

5: Custom Soldierz – Emperors March

Custom Soliderz touchdown for the first time on Dangerous New Age Recordings and give us Emperors march. They are from Puerto rico and the USA. Custom Soliderz are 3 guys who have teamed up to become one ultimate team. It won’t be long before these guys will be household names. I think 2011 is going to be their year so this is the warm up phrase before global domination.

They have all ready signed with labels like Mindtech, Close2Death, Trust in Music and Fall Out, to name a few. Emperors March is a massive dance floor tune and one that the MC’s will love to flow to.
The intro to Emperors March is very well executed and worked out with a catchy hook line and a sequence of hats and drums that creeps up on you like a heart attack.

Emperors March is one of them tunes that will get stuck in your head. Like an ex girlfriends telephone number. The drop is dirtier than a Prostitute and as nasty as the Punisher on a weekend in Amsterdam
This track has it all huge amounts of energy and lots of variations in the tune. Keeping you on your feet at all times during the duration of the track. Dangerous New Age are happy to have Custom Soilderz as part of the team and after hearing some of their tunes have decided to ask them to remix a Live Summits track featuring AnnGree.

This will be released next year on Live & Dangerous Look out for it.  It’s time to to lock load and fire!!!!  Because the Special Forces are here, and their called the Custom Soilderz.
